The Border Gaitherin continues to build on its reputation for providing an exceptional family friendly participative event with traditional music workshops, concerts, ceilidh and lively sessions plus many other activities.

The Border Gaitherin is the major showcase for Borders music and for the immense musical and creative talent which resides here in the Borders.

The Gaitherin has a well respected reputation, built up over the previous 11 years, of drawing on the wealth of locally based traditional musicians who continue to make their mark both nationally and internationally stages, and who are willing to come as tutors and guests to share their music and enthusiasm for their rich heritage of Border tunes, music and songs.

'The Border Gaitherin'  tutors and guests provide an exciting and inspirational blend of youth, experience, tremendous skill, all supporting our focus on  'Flutes and Fiddles Futures' and furthering the creative talent of young and old, locals and visitors alike.
